Observatory and Planetarium
What happens when science meets music, image and the night sky? During the Night on the Island of Culture, the Observatory and Planetarium offers an evening full of experiments, audiovisual experiences, music and real stargazing. You can look forward to the entertaining science show of the Amazing Theatre of Physics, a screening of the audiovisual show Recombination, a Maok concert accompanied by visual projection, and a late-night film club. Once it gets dark you can climb up under the dome of the observatory, look behind the scenes and, weather permitting, use the telescope to see the objects visible in the evening sky. Come and experience the observatory not only as a place for watching stars, but as a space where science, art, music and human curiosity meet.
