Žižkárna

What lies behind a good club night? At Žižkárna you can look over the shoulders of the people who make it happen, try the work of a DJ, sound engineer or lighting technician and find out how the atmosphere that keeps you on the dance floor is created. The afternoon workshops are joined by a practical course in self-defence and conflict prevention in nightlife settings, and a debate about the present and future of the local electronic scene. Once it gets dark, it is time to turn what you have learned into your own experience. Žižkárna opens a specially prepared club space and offers a night of electronic music with Czech and international names, including headliner Hard to Frame. Come and see how club culture works from the inside, meet the people around the local scene and end the day on the dance floor.
