Metropol Studio Stage

The Metropol Small Stage turns into a Night Salon connecting cultural figures from České Budějovice with live music, cabaret, theatre, stand-up and dance. You will meet the makers of Kabaret U Váňů, the women’s amateur company ŽAS, sculptor Petr Schel and musicians who wrote and are still writing the story of the local music scene. The conversations are interspersed with live and costumed performances, big beat, jazz and contemporary humour. The evening gradually turns into an informal dance hall and culminates in a DJ set. Come to revisit familiar faces, discover new connections, or simply spend a cultural night in the pleasant atmosphere of a café with a small dance floor. Here you do not have to just sit in the audience. You can listen, join the conversation, meet friends and finally be swept away by the music.
