South Bohemian Philharmonic

What does a philharmonic sound like when you can enjoy it at your own pace? The South Bohemian Philharmonic turns the Church of St Anne into a place full of live music, encounters and unexpected musical experiences. Over the course of the evening, chamber ensembles made up of orchestra players perform, from string quartets to a wind sextet, and there will be live music in the café and a workshop for children. The culmination is a concert of the South Bohemian Philharmonic conducted by Jan Talich. Expect classical music in an informal atmosphere, a varied programme for different generations and a chance to discover how many forms live music can take. Drop in for a while, or stay for the whole evening and enjoy the music your own way.
