AJG – Wortner House

During the Night on the Island of Culture, Wortner House brings together contemporary art, new technologies, experimental music and a debate about the future of the gallery. You will see a painting come into being in front of you with the help of Malbot, the unconventional painting device of Jakub Tajovský, and meet the artist who is pushing the limits of classical painting. The evening also offers four live music performances on the border of electronics, ambient and sound experiment, a discussion about the planned new AJG building on Senovážné náměstí, and an Art Book Swap where books on art and architecture find new readers. Between the programme items you can rest in the courtyard with light refreshments and hot drinks. It is an evening that connects the art of today with ideas of the cultural city of tomorrow.
